In Italian we use 'convivere' to describe the condition of living in the same place. But the word can also mean 'to coexist', touching on the idea of existing side-by-side, or living a life together, at times even symbiotically. We also use 'convivere' to talk about situations we have to bear with, accept and sometimes tolerate. Aren't all those meanings, at the end, different aspects of moving in together?
